The teenage years are a time for increased responsibilities and independence. ADHD can make navigating these transitional times even more challenging. Teenagers can struggle with focusing on school, completing homework, impulsive or risky behaviour, difficulty with social relationships and managing big emotions.

At REACH ADHD coaching and consultancy, we can help teenagers gain confidence in their problem-solving abilities and build life skills that will serve them post-secondary and into adult life. We work with the whole family in a unified approach to educate, understand and appreciate the strengths of ADHD and place tools and strategies to help with the challenges.

Initial Consultation:  In our initial session, we discuss the reasons for seeking support. We will explore topics most relevant and important to our clients, such as family, work, school, social life and relationships. We will discuss future sessions, such as the frequency of sessions, time, and meeting place. Finally, we start to identify intentions (or goals or outcomes).

Ongoing Sessions: We will continue to build respect and trust and develop action items toward achieving intentions and positive, which may change over time. Sessions can be scheduled weekly/ fortnightly or as needed. Clients have access to our Client Portal, calendar booking and payment system. We are committed to being there for you.

In essence, REACH ADHD Coaching and Consultancy ensure that our clients feel unconditional acceptance, and a powerful appreciation of their potential that leads them to make conscious choices towards a meaningful, rewarding life.

Each client's ultimate timeline for coaching is unique. Remember the quote, 'Little by Little, Change Happens,' with this in mind, we recommend booking 6 sessions fortnightly, i.e. working with us for at least 3 months. At the end of the 3 months, together we will reaccess. In life, there at times when people with ADHD may struggle. Our goal is to be here for you during those times.
